Aalaa I. Abu Lail is currently heading the innovation unit at Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF). She received her BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology. While an undergraduate student, Ala’ performed two consecutive summer research-focused internships at Washington State University.

Prior to joining AHSF, Ala’ served as a program manager at both Migrate Business Services and Applied Scientific Research Fund consecutively. During the past few years, Ala’ consulted on various projects where her portfolio includes innovation and entrepreneurship, education, training, financial solutions, and project management with several national and international organizations.

Her enthusiasm comes from a life-long obsession with creativity. Ala’ is constantly exploring various disciplines to broaden her knowledge.
