
Dr. Mohammad Hajjiri
With an M.D. from Egypt’s Ain Shams University and cardiac subspecialty degrees from Harvard and New York University (NYU), Dr. Mohammad Hajjiri is a leading interventional electrophysiologist and cardiologist based out of Ohio, where he serves as the director of interventional electrophysiology at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. After training under world-renowned physicians like Sylvia Priori and Charles Love, Dr. Hajjiri has gone on to develop novel techniques for stem cell use, holding two patents in the field.
Dr. Hajjiri is particularly passionate about healthcare education: in addition to serving as an assistant professor of medicine at Ohio University, he is the founder of Hajjiri Health for E-ducation (H2e), an initiative that works to integrate virtual and augmented reality technologies into healthcare education. He is also actively involved in Edraak, an initiative that provides e-learning opportunities for the Arab world. Dr. Hajjiri has taken on the role of editor-in-chief for Edraak’s healthcare platform, which offers free medical courses to Arab healthcare professionals.
As a member of the KHCF USA board of trustees, Dr. Hajjiri lends the foundation his leading expertise and insights into healthcare and health education.
