Senator The Jordanian Senate

Prof. Dr. Raeda Al-Qutb holds a medical degree from the University of Jordan and a master’s and doctorate in public health from Johns Hopkins University in the United States. Dr. Al-Qutb is currently a professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Jordan and she chairs and serves as a member of many international and national councils concerned with public health and development. . Dr. Al-Qutb worked as an advisor to Her Majesty Queen Rania on public health and childhood affairs, director of UNICEF programs in Jordan, a regional advisor to the World Health Organization in reproductive health, and Secretary-General of the National Council for Family Affairs and the Higher Population Council. Dr. Al-Qutb also held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Jordan and was the first woman and doctor to hold this position in Jordan before she was appointed to the Jordanian Senate.
