Mr. Nael Soudi holds a bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in USA, a postgraduate degree in Cytotechnology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University in USA. Mr. Soudi is a certified professional in health care quality (CPHQ), a certified consultant and inspector with the Healthcare Accreditation Council (HCAC), a certified College of American Pathologist (CAP) inspector and is also board certified by the International Academy of Cytology (IAC) and the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) - Cytology.
Over 30 years of experience in healthcare services, particularly Medical Lab Services, Healthcare Quality & Accreditation, also specialized in Cytology.

Dr. Haitham Doweri was appointed as Director of crisis management Director at MOH on 24 June, 2020. Dr.Haetham has made a substantial, positive contribution to the development and improvement of Jordanian’s health system, which has witnessed qualitative improvements in recent years, particularly in areas such as Quality , patient safety and risk management.

He is an Inaugural Member of ISQua’s Quality Academy, and former President of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Alumni Association.
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ain Shams University
Sabry Hamza is a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology with 32 years of Ob/Gyn experience and 22 years of senior-level experience as a reproductive health/safe motherhood advisor to development projects and international organizations. Other relevant areas of expertise include project management, capacity building, needs assessments, designing and implementing competency-based training programs, and health care quality management.
As director of predecessor USAID-funded health projects in Egypt and Jordan, he assisted the Ministry of Health and other key public and private health sector organizations in designing and implementing sustainable programs to improve access to and quality of reproductive, maternal, neonatal, and child health (RMNCH+) services for women of reproductive age and children under 5.
Prof. Hamza also led the design and implementation of Egypt’s and Jordan’s Maternal Mortality Surveillance and Response Systems to help eliminate preventable maternal deaths.
Prof. Hamza has many publications and scientific research papers on maternal health, use of low-cost technologies to reduce maternal mortality, in addition to family planning/reproductive health service delivery.

Dr Mondher Letaief is a Professor of Preventive Medicine at the University Hospital of Monastir, Tunisia. Dr Letaief’s areas of expertise cover Health Systems development, Quality and patient safety improvement as well as preventive medicine and public health.
Before he joined Who, Dr Letaief occupied the position of regional director of health in Monastir, Tunisia. He also led the coordination of a national research unit on quality and patient safety as well as several academic and international educational activities in the field of public health and healthcare management
He also collaborated with WHO and other international organizations on several projects in the areas of Quality and Patient safety as well as Public Health and Health systems development.
Dr Mondher Letaief is member of the International Academy of Quality and Safety (IAQS), the Middle East and North Africa Health Policy Forum, the editorial board of the Journal of Patient Safety and Risk Management, expert reviewer for the International Society for Quality in Healthcare, reviewer for several international journals. Ghaya Abdellatif Alwahdanee is currently the head of education , quality and biorisk management coordinator for the Ministry of Health – laboratory directorate /Central Public Health Laboratory. As a biorisk management coordinator she works on many topics located on the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) and International health regulation (IHR). As the Biosafety officer designated by the World Health Organization, approved by the MOH and designated for the MENA region. She is a certified WHO trainer on all topics related to Biosafety and biosecurity (Biorisk management.).She was awarded with a “Preventing emerging and re-emerging infections” Mini Grant that allowed her and her colleagues the opportunity to develop National Biorisk Guidelines for the country of Jordan. Also involves in BRM activities in MENA region (International and Mena twining projects. Through the COVID pandemic she supported the laboratory capacity for COVID testing under strict obligations for quality management and biorisk management instructions.

Dr Amer Gharaibeh is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at King Hussein Medical Center, Royal Medical Services/Amman.
He sub-specialized in Maternal Medicine/ High Risk Pregnancy in Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals, Surrey/London.
He runs the Maternal Medicine and Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic since 2007 till present. In addition, he carries several other responsibilities such as clinical lecturer at the College of Medicine/ Jordan University, Board Examiner at Jordan Medical Council, member of the Jordanian Obs-gynae Association and he is an RCOG associate.
He published several medical articles, reviews and case reports at local and international journals.

He collaborated in issuing many local guidelines and protocols including first confidential enquirers into maternal mortality in Jordan as a member of National Advisory Group of Maternal Mortality Surveillance and Response System (MMSR).
Quality and Patient Safety Consultant WHO EMRO
Dr Ahmed Alboksmaty is quality and patient safety consultant at the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO) of the World Health Organization (WHO). He currently works as a research associate in patient safety and clinical analytics at the NIHR-Patient Safety Translational Research Centre (PSTRC), Imperial College London.
Dr Alboksmaty has vast experience developing and leading health policy and research projects at the national level in Egypt, regional level in the Eastern Mediterranean, and international level. His work focuses on health system development, primary care, quality and safety, and health care in conflict settings.
He is a qualified medical doctor with postgraduate master studies in public and global health pursued at Imperial College London with the prestigious Chevening Scholarship award. He has been a One Young World Ambassador since Oct 2019 and represented the youth voice and leadership on multiple international occasions, such as in Safirlab Leadership Program and Thinkers&Doers Forum in Paris 2014 and 2015, respectively.

Dr Alaa A. Sayed serves as a consultant on quality and patient safety at the department of Universal Health Coverage - Health systems at the Eastern-Mediterranean Regional Office of the World Health Organization.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Beni Suef University in Egypt, where she served as a primary care physician and an assistant lecturer, with close focus on developing patient safety program and improving access to healthcare services for underserved communities.
Before Dr Sayed Joined the WHO, She completed her Masters of Science at the national heart and lung institute at Imperial college London with a focus on developing new therapeutics.
Dr Sayed also is serving as a clinical research fellow at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the USA working on research projects concerning quality improvement and artificial intelligence.

Shadia Shaban, MSN, BSN, RN, is a Patient Safety Advisor at the Saudi Patient Safety Center (SPSC). In this role, she is responsible for providing leadership, creating a culture of patient safety, working with various constituencies to ensure compliance with best practices and improve clinical performance, and maintain collaborative working relationships with various national, regional, and international organizations.
Shadia is a driven and solutions-oriented Registered Nurse with 14+ years of progressive expertise in the Perioperative Environment, Surgical Supply Management, and leading Surgical Services Quality Improvement Programs within Saudi Aramco Medical Services Organization (SAMSO) and Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH).
She received her RN degree from King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in 2003 followed by a MSN Degree in Nursing & Health Systems Leadership from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in 2011.
