Chief Safety and Transformation Officer, PGA, LLC
Tejal Gandhi, MD, MPH, CPPS, is the Chief Safety and Transformation Officer at Press Ganey. In this role, she is responsible for advancing the Zero Harm movement, improving patient and workforce safety, and developing innovative health care transformation strategies. Dr. Gandhi also leads the Press Ganey Equity Partnership to advance equity in health care.
Dr. Gandhi previously served as Chief Clinical and Safety Officer at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), where she led programs focusing on improving patient and workforce safety, and was President and CEO of the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) from 2013 until 2017.
Dr. Gandhi has been named as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare,” “Top 25 Women in Healthcare,” and “50 Most Influential Clinical Executives” by Modern Healthcare magazine.
She received her MD and MPH degrees from Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Dr Philip Crowley is the National Director for Strategy and Research in the Health Services Executive (The national organization that delivers public health services in Ireland). In his previous national health service roles over the last 10 years he was national lead for quality and patient safety and national lead for quality improvement.
He leads on strategic planning, research, population health and wellbeing, global health, human rights and performance reporting to the HDE Board.
He is a graduate of the Advanced Training Program in Healthcare Delivery Improvement, Intermountain Healthcare Salt Lake City Utah.
He is a doctor who works part-time as a General Practitioner. He worked for five years in Nicaragua, trained in public health in Newcastle Upon Tyne and worked for 6 years as Deputy Chief Medical Officer in the Department of Health.

Professor Fadi El-Jardali (PhD, MPH) is a recognized health policy and systems researcher and global advocate for the use of science and research evidence in policy decisions and practice. He has extensive international and regional experience and multidisciplinary background in health policy, systems and management. He held several senior management and policy positions. He is currently Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Evidence-Informed Policy and Practice, Professor of Health Policy and Systems, Founder & Director of the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center; Co-Director of the Center for Systematic Reviews in Health Policy and Systems Research (SPARK). He is Co-Editor in Chief for Health Research, Policy and Systems (HARPS) Journal. He was recently inducted into the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health. Dr. El-Jardali is a recipient of the Global Health Leadership Award.
He has published extensively (more than 120 peer reviewed publications) on health systems and policy and initiated and led the COVID-19 Rapid Response Series Initiative directed at government and health care organizations. He supported several governments (including ministries of health) and health care organizations (including hospitals and primary health care centers) with many impactful work including quality and performance initiatives.
